Description The Church of the Brethren established in 1865 north of town with 21 members was sometimes called the Dunkard Church because of baptism by full immersion. T. D. Lyon was the first minister; J. H. Nehr was the last. The church building was moved to Hudson in 1908 to the corner of Washington and Walnut Streets. In 1927 the building was sold and moved to the township becoming a residence.
