Document Actions

Everything we do for you, inside the library or out!

Circulation Services

Patrons may check out any number of books, audiobooks, PlayAways, compact discs and magazines for a three-week loan period.  New adult bestsellers check out for two weeks. VHS tapes are available for a one- week loan period.  Movies on DVD may be checked out for three days.  There is a $1 fee for "new release" DVDs.

Youth and Teen Services

Children may enjoy our play area and games as well as our collection of picture books and easy readers.  Story Times for pre-schoolers are offered in the winter, spring, summer and fall. Toddler times for one and two-year-olds are held periodically throughout the year. Our annual Summer Reading program begins in June.

For teens, we offer fiction as well as non-fiction resources and a variety of movies, music and magazines.  Teens are invited to participate in the Mother-Daughter book club and their own Summer Reading Program.

Reference Assistance

Reference Assistance is limited to Ready-Reference and quick searches in person or by phone.

Outreach Activities

Keep an eye on our calendar for events!  We offer workshops, host a Literary Guild book group, and a Mother-Daughter Book Club; we also work side-by-side with the Hudson Elementary School to provide materials for our younger patrons -- our annual Caudill Award voting and pizza party is very popular.

The Library's Collection

Browse our collection of new books, fiction, non-fiction and magazines; also available are audiobooks, PlayAways, movies (VHS and DVD) and music.

Community Spaces in the Library

The Community Room is available for events; please check with the Library Staff for more information.
